Michael Wayne Spoores Jr, stage name Yung SwagStar, was born in Iowa City, IA and lived most of his life in a small town in Illinois. When he was just about to turn 18 his mother and father separated and he moved with his mother to Indiana. It was in the year of 2008 when he then found his undeniable talent in the music industry. He then started recording and researching ways to better his marketing, making himself sound better, and all the up's and down's he would have to endure with a music career.After 8 long months of recording he was finally ready to release his first mixtape. On December 18th, 2012, "Bombay & Lemonade The Mixtape," was available to download worldwide. Within the first 24 hours of the release, the mixtape accumulated 400 views, and is now at over 1,700. 

Yung SwagStar thrives off of not only himself and his love for music, but the support of his fans. He entitles his fans, supporters, followers, and anyone having to do with his music as "Team SwagStar." He feels and states that, "Everyone that listens to my music or supports my movement in the music industry should be more than just fans. Fans, in my mind, is a disgraceful term. You are talking about the people buying your cd's, going to your shows, and basically paying your bills. Don't you think they deserve a better title?" With that said, he came up with Team SwagStar.Now on to a personal note in the mind of Yung SwagStar.

He states, "I want people to know me for more than just my music. Team SwagStar (as described above) is more than just a movement. We are a family. With that said I like my team to know me outside of music...and on a personal level also."Michael Wayne Spoores Jr, also known as Yung SwagStar, was born on June 25th, 1987. Now at 24 years young, he has developed a love for music, tattoos, and a keen sense of giving his "fans" what they want. Yung SwagStar has a total of 16 tattoos and he does NOT plan to stop there. Besides being in the studio a lot, he enjoys playing Xbox 360 and conversating with new people and meeting new faces. He will also admit "Yes...I smoke cigarettes. It's how I handle life stress and keep myself relaxed under pressure.

I do have the desire to quit but I'm not sure when that day will come."His first debut album, "First Class Swag," was released on iTunes in July of 2012.
